I will be giving a brief on all the tips to boost and improve your mental health. 

1. Feed the Right Kind of Information 

Feed the right kind of data or your system may corrupt. A city when it starts getting polluted begins to slow down similarly your mind when it tends to get polluted by unwanted and toxic thoughts tends to slow down. Only you have access to your mind hence what you feed your brain is what it will reciprocate to you in the future. Fill your mind with positive, motivational thoughts which will mould your actions making you a better person. Fill your mind with intellectual information and news which will cleanse your mind and keep it fresh forever. 

2. Train your Brain 

How will you be affected by something if you are already prepared for it?. Your mind should always be open to criticism. May it be a small comment about your appearance or you are being body shamed for your figure. This is where training your MIND plays a major role. 

Your mind should be able to ignore destructive criticism and be open to constructive 
criticism. Your mind must get an experience of everything but deciding how to react and respond to the situation is where your mind should have a strong and positive mindset that no matter what “we can get through this”. In psychology there is a term invented by physiologist Ivan Pavlov called “classical conditioning” it means training your mind to react to something in the way you want it to aka conditioning your mind’s action to something. 

3. It’s Okay! 

Sometimes we tend to feel low without any certain reason and you need to know that it’s okay to feel that way. No matter how hard we try to hold on we have you let go of it at some point. Stressing yourself out and overthinking can increase mental health risks twice as compared to normal. Don’t wear yourself out because you feel low, distract yourself, indulge in activities that give you pleasure. Few common things which people generally use as a stress busters are: 

  • Sleep, eat, yoga and repeat – yoga calms your mind as well as your body it’s like a reset button but for your body 
  • Music – relaxing music brings a sense of clarity in your thinking here is a music video which has helped me calm down. 100% recommend!! 
  • Spoil yourself with your favourite dessert – c’mon you have to agree that a chocolate soufflé or a big tub of cookies and cream flavoured will not put you in a better mood. Go for it and stuff yourselves. I promise you a few candies hurt nobody …. 

4. Share your Grief 

Keeping things to yourself may take a toll on your mental health. Sharing what you 
are going through may give you a sense of relief. Knowing that you are not going 
through it alone or you might help somebody overcome their struggle. Many helpline 
numbers are ready to listen to you without any judgement if you are not comfortable 
talking to them you could just talk to any family member or relative. 

Painful memories or incidents can damage you mentally, emotionally and physically and will change the way you look at things then go on to become a hindrance in your future. In order to stop that it’s best you pour your heart out to somebody you feel free with or maybe cry and vent out your frustration. 

Your life is the dish you keep perfecting till you die your mind is the chef who puts the 
spices you are the head chef who instructs your mind. Your dish might get too spicy, 
salty, sweet, sour or bitter but you must keep in this mind you are responsible for how 
the dish will turn out so you must make sure and be cautious how much of what 
ingredients you add like thoughts, negativity, positivity, emotions, self-love etc.

  • I thought that this is s very essential article in this pandemic situation for everyone. After reading this article i felt that just i come across all these things. Everyone has to take care of mental health. Such a nice topic. Congrats Durka Rajeshkumar for giving a elixir information to this world.
