In her Contest X Stage I submission, Tanasi talks about the memories that her shadow welcomes.
A Poem: Reviving from The Shadows

As the moonlight blinded my eyes
With not many memories to mesmerise
Mind filled with sopranos
I slipped into the shadows
As I succumbed to slumber
It was melancholy but also a bummer
Tranquil thoughts turned into fiascos
I eventually slipped into the shadows
His deep blue eyes made my mind supple
he pulled me out of a woe bubble
he helped me defeat my inanimate foes
and I slipped out of the shadows.
Now I wake up to the warmth of the sunrise
And I had memories to mesmerise
I chuckled with my aficionado
As I was not petrified by the shadows.
Darkness camouflages harassment of a deity, abductions, human trafficking, illegal trades, domestic violence and many more felonious sins oblivious to the social equivalent to the shadow that disappears under the daring dark sky without care. We have all mistaken the proverb ‘Ignorance is bliss’ in being fallacious, instead, we use it as a safety cage to pry away from vicious situations taking place. Regardless of being a male or female, wealthy or poor; none are saved from the wrath of the evil – neither under the shining sun nor under the dark starry night. I reckon “Every sin is shadowed when darkness takes over.”
