Freedom
Those who are in their teens or youth can relate with the term freedom, the idea of defying boundaries. There is something within everyone that cannot stand boundaries. Or, in other words, there is something within you that wants to become boundless.
What can be boundless? Anything which is physical has a full stop. For example, the money you can have, the distance you can travel, and of course the body you are in.
Physical means there is a starting point and an ending point. If we look deep within there is something within you that is longing to touch a dimension that is beyond the physical.
Here comes the ide of spirituality. It is not about doing good, or praying, or standing in a yogic pose. it is all about recognizing the physical boundary and trying to find something beyond. It is imagining the unimaginable. It is not about doing whatever you wish. Doing whatever we wish is not freedom but being a slave to one’s mind.
Becoming More Ordinary

So coming back to spirituality, it is not about achieving unique. This is the acceptance of what is limited and a willingness to go beyond. This is the biggest adventure one can have, to realize that death is certain but also understanding that it is for the physical. So in simple terms, being spiritual is accepting what is in a joyful manner. It is the fundamental aspect of living well.
It is about emptying your mind from opinions and conclusions. Be like a child, look at everything with curiosity. He never makes any conclusions and hence is happy every time. This is spirituality. It is being happy with nothing, but with whatever there is.
There is an interesting story, a Japanese master was visited by his student. The student had so many doubts about almost everything. The master served tea to the boy. He poured the boy’s cup full and then kept on pouring.
The student watched this and then yelled, “It is overfull. No more will go in!”
“Like this cup,” the professor said, “you are full of your own opinions and speculations. How can I tell you unless you first empty your cup?”
